Pelican Kayaks – Mustang 100x

img_20180702_160949673

Just picked up the Pelican Mustang 100x from Dick’s Sporting Goods. I have been nothing but satisfied with this purchase. I find the price range at $220-270 to be a decent investment into getting me out of the house and on to the lakes and rivers. Did you know that kayaking for 1hr burns 454 calories (if you weigh 200lbs)? The Pelican Mustang 100x model has two storage compartments, a storage pack, Ergo-foam seats, and fishing rod holders. It weighs roughly 36lbs so it’s easy to maneuver to and from storage/transportation. The paddle is sold separately, but the 230cm paddle was recommended for this model.

Merrell Men's All Out Blaze Sieve Water Shoe, Black/Wild Dove, 10.5 M US

Nothing feels more comfortable on my feet then when I’m wearing a pair of Merrells.  The All Out Blaze Sieve Water Shoe is no different.  I wear these shoes in and out of the water when kayaking and can also double up when hiking the trail.  They dry very quickly and offer the same underfoot support with the Vibram sole.

Super soft collar, easy to slip on and off, this shoe should definitely be on your shopping list.
