What I’m Currently Running In…
Brooks Glycerin 16
Much like the 14s, the 16s are a very comfortable ride. It features a soft collar a wide toe box. The only drawback I have with the 16s are the sizing. I wore a size 9.5 in the 14s, which is a snug fit. I am wearing size 9 in the 16s and it feels almost a half-size too big.
I am currently alternating my runs between the 14s and 16s just to allow a pair to recuperate prior to the next run and extend the life of the shoe.
Like I said, the show is a great ride that you should definately take out for a run.
Brooks Glycerin 14
I’ve been running in Brooks for over 10 years now and do not intend to ever leave. A little about me, I’m 5’8″ and 200 lbs, flat footed and an over-pronater. I’ve always ran in Brooks Adrenaline before with no issues, loved that shoe. However, I’m always looking for ways to improve and after in-depth reviews on Brooks’ other shoes, I came upon the Brooks Glycerin 14s. I LOVE THIS SHOE. Yes the price is higher than Adrenalines ($120 vs $100) but what you put on your feet for the pounding of the road/track/trail is nothing to skimp on. You get what you pay for with these.

I know I know you’re saying, “Yeah but the Brooks Glycerin 16s came out.” Once I get those on my feet I’ll update this gear post.
